Agreement Signed with Capital University
In March 2008, Vice President Xiaoming Wang and eight officials from Capital Medical University in Beijing, China visited USF’s Breast Health Clinical and Research Integrated Strategic Program (CRISP) in an effort to establish an exchange program between the two universities. Charles Cox, MD, CEO of Breast Health CRISP led the discussion on a collaboration that will focus on developing a breast cancer surgical research and training program in Beijing. Projects will include student exchange, and involve the complex exchange of research, training, and interventions. An agreement of collaboration was signed by Maria Crummett, Dean of USF International Affairs, and Vice President Wang at the Confucius Institute.
