International Activities by USF College of Medicine Faculty

Introduction

In 2006, over one hundred USF College of Medicine faculty responded to a survey assessing their past and current international academic experiences and interests. Previous international experiences were also very common among faculty members, and the countries with the highest number of faculty members indicating previous experience were
  • England
  • Germany
  • India
Most faculty members indicated research and consultation activities as their previous international experiences. Numerous faculty members also indicated future interests in pursuing international research, hosting academic training programs, initiating partnerships and developing or participating in exchange programs.
