New Residents & Fellows – Required Training

The University of South Florida has educational requirements of all employees. Some of these requirements will need annual re-verification.

 

American Medical Association – Introduction to the Practice of Medicine Modules

 

These modules are all available online. Click the link below to access your required online courses.

 

PGY 1's and 2's must complete the following courses:

• Medical Records Doumentation: Its Impact on Patient Care Communications, Reimbursement and Compliance
• Patient Safety
• Introduction to Personal Finances

PGY 3's and above must complete the following courses: 

• Physician Employment Contracts: What you need to know
• Patient Safety
• Coding & Documentation for Resident Physicians
