Professional Activities: 

I am an Attending  Physician on the USF Neurology teaching services including the inpatient neurology, consult neurology, stroke and epilepsy services at TGH and the James A. Haley VA.  While I enjoy seeing patients with all varieties of neurological disorders, my particular expertise lies in the medical and surgical management of patients with epilepsy.  My research interests include post-traumatic epilepsy, management of status epilepticus, long term EEG monitoring in critically brain injured patients and sudden unexplained death in epilepsy (SUDEP).  I am a member of the American Academy of Neurology, the Florida Society of Neurology and the American Epilepsy Society.

 

Faculty Council Goals: 

To provide a voice for the faculty and ensure faculty input regarding COM administrative policies (i.e. this year’s faculty driven revisions of Pharma III policies).
