Jan Boger, Au.D. CCC-A is an Assistant Professor and is currently Director of Audiology at the USF Hearing and Balance Center in the Department of Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery in the College of Medicine at the University of South Florida. Dr. Boger is a University of South Florida alumnus and received her Master of Science Degree in Audiology in 1976 and her Doctorate of Audiology (AuD) degree in 2006. Her career includes several years in private practice with expertise in medical diagnostic Audiology as well as hearing aid dispensing and rehabilitation. Dr. Boger joined the Department of Otolaryngology in 1995. With the arrival of Dr. K. Paul Boyev, the Neurotologist, Dr. Boger became the Director of Audiology and Program Manager with an emphasis in developing a Hearing and Balance Center. In 2000, the USF Hearing and Balance Center was established. The USF Hearing and Balance Center is also an academic learning site for the Department of Communication Sciences & Disorders at USF and Dr. Boger is an extern site advisor for graduate Audiology students. She is an ASHA (American Speech-Language-Hearing Association) certified Audiologist and a fellow in the American Academy of Audiology. Her current research interests are in balance and vestibular disorders.
