Biographical Sketch

Dr. Thomas V. McCaffrey received his M.D. degree from the Loyola University, Stritch School of Medicine. He completed his residency in Otolaryngology at the Mayo Clinic and he holds a Ph.D. in both Physiology and Otolaryngology with research interests in Laryngeal and Nasal Physiology. In 1998 Dr. McCaffrey was offered the position of Professor and Inaugural Chairman of the Department of Otolaryngology - Head & Neck Surgery at the University of South Florida. In this role he has built a department of physicians that are routinely named "Best Doctors" and a service worthy of ranking in U.S. World and News Report, Best Hospitals 2007 at both Tampa General Hospital and H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center. His clinical interests include head & neck oncology, rhinology, and laryngology.
