Course Description:
The University of South Florida Department of Otolaryngology is pleased to present "The Annual Richard T. Farrior, MD Lecture Series in Facial Plastic Surgery and Rhinology". Dr. Richard Farrior has dedicated his career to the education and training of young doctors eager to learn from his vast knowledge, experience, and surgical skills as applied in facial plastic surgery. Currently, Dr. Farrior is an emeritus professor at the USF College of Medicine Department of Otolaryngology.
The lectures comprise a variety of prevailing and notable topics in facial plastic surgery, rhinology, and this year will include topics from sleep medicine. The lecture series is designed as an educational program for practicing physicians, residents and fellows, physicians' assistants, nurses, medical students, and other interested healthcare personnel in the specialties of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery, Facial Plastic Surgery, Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery, Plastic Surgery, Ophthalmology, Dermatology, Allergy and Immunology, and Pulmonology.
The curriculum has been designed to encourage the exchange of information with a combined format of lectures, panel discussions and operative techniques. To further enhance the objectives adequate time will be allotted for audience participation.
