Scott Drake’s current position is a Technology & Systems Analyst in Creative Services & Instructional Innovation for the Office of Educational Affairs at the University of South Florida College of Medicine. His duties include scoring and reporting of subject area and integrated exams. He provides technical support for the PACES logbook system, AMCAS, Turning Point, SharePoint, and other CSI2/OEA programs and projects. He serves as a Chief Proctor for the NBME web-based exams for USF COM.
Scott has been with USF since 1995 and has over 13 years experience in the Information Technologies field. He has experience and training in both Microsoft Windows and Apple Macintosh operating systems. His past roles have included server, network, and workstation support as well as data management, analysis, and reporting to various entities. His past responsibilities have also included information security where Scott created and implemented guideline and protocols for the Florida Teacher Certification Exam under the direction of the Institute for Instructional Research & Practice. Scott has provided instructional training to end users on various Microsoft programs as well as end user support on in-house programs and databases. He holds a Bachelors’ degree in Management Information Systems and has completed several IT related training courses.
Scott looks forward to furthering his scholastic career and knowledge through school and career experience at USF.
