International Medicine
Advance students' knowledge of international health and geographical and cultural diversity so that their clinical skills and research acumen become global tools when practicing medicine. Students will evaluate the global impact of infectious diseases, trauma, metabolic and chronic illnesses; analyze the causes and effects of global health inequities on health outcomes; and acquire skills in time management, critical literature review, clinical evaluation and leadership development. Students get the opportunity to complete an international research project, clinical rotation or field experience.
