Mrs. Stephenson has more than twenty years of clinical experience in adult neurorehabilitation and outpatient orthopedics. She has worked in a sports medicine clinic, several large rehabilitation centers, rehabilitation units within hospitals and in a day rehabilitation program as a senior clinical specialist and clinical education coordinator. She is certified in adult Neurodevelopmental Treatment and completed a six month post graduate training program in Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation.
Her academic experience includes positions as an Assistant Professor at East Carolina University in North Carolina and as an adjunct faculty member at the Medical College of Virginia. She has taught continuing education courses to physical and occupational therapists with the Institute of Physical Art for twenty years.
