Practice:
Dr. Ambler has been practicing physical therapy since 2005. Prior to joining the University of South Florida, Dr. Ambler was the Director of Physical Therapy at a privately owned orthopaedic physical therapy practice in Phoenix, AZ. Along with his clinical practice, Dr. Ambler has served as the First Vice President of the Arizona Physical Therapy Association and remains actively involved nationally with the American Physical Therapy Association. Dr. Ambler’s primary interests include the prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and research of individuals with orthopaedic and sport related injuries; as well as the education of medical professionals and the public on the physical therapists role in the evaluation of movement and the prevention of disease.
