Clinical Education

 

 

Dear Clinical Education Partner:

 

Thank you for your participation in the clinical education program at the School of Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation Sciences.  We are excited about the quality of our clinical education program and the addition of Integrated Clinical Experiences.    Our second year DPT students participate in two, two week full-time Integrated Clinical Experiences (ICE 1 and ICE 2) and they occur at the end of the fall and spring. The ICE experiences closely parallel the timing of their general physical therapy courses.  This allows our students to integrate the knowledge and skills that they are currently learning into their clinical experience. The addition of the ICEs to our curriculum creates a better prepared DPT student for the full-time clinical education experiences and ultimately a better clinician.
 
Our DPT students will also experience three full-time clinical education experiences in addition to the ICEs.  All required clinical education documents are available for you to complete on-line and should be submitted electronically to dclegg@health.usf.edu   If you are unable to submit electronically, please send documents to the following address:
