Mary H. Lien, M.D.

Bio Sketch

Specializing in the treatment of cutaneous neoplasms, hair disorders and women's dermatologic disorders, Dr. Lien is Assistant Professor and Director of Medical Student Education in the USF Health Department of Dermatology and Cutaneous Surgery. Dr. Lien is also Chief of Dermatology at James A. Haley Veterans Hospital and serves as staff physician at H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center. Dr. Lien is passionate about connecting with each and every patient. "Eye to eye contact is very important", says Dr. Lien, "I sit at the patients level because it builds rapport and establishes a connection. I'm very thorough in my exam and go over treatment plans step by step. In this day and age more than ever, with so much information, patients have more choices and need someone to help them navigate options."
