News About the Research Unit
About the Research Unit
The USF Cardiovascular Services Research Unit has been in existence for almost 20 years. It was previously known as The Cardiovascular Unit for Research and Education. Our research unit evaluates new as well as established pharmacotherapeutic agents and in addition the latest treatment and devices for cardiovascular disease.
Cardiovascular Services is a unit that produces quality research while providing the best of care and health education to our study participants. In addition to our Investigators, we have 2 fulltime research nurses available to answer questions and discuss the clinical trials with qualified interested participants. We have two locations, one at the USF Medical Clinic at 12901 Bruce B. Downs in Tampa and the second at the USF Health South Building at 2 Tampa General Circle in Tampa. That location is the building adjacent to Tampa General Hospital.
