DIRECT DEPOSIT CHANGES

Question: How do I change my Direct Deposit Information?

In order to change information for Direct Deposit, you must go into the GEMS webpage.

Here are the instructions to get into GEMS:

  • Follow the Self Service “How To” Instructions to access GEMS.
  • Once in PeopleSoft Home Page, you will be prompted to enter your ID NUMBER and PASSWORD. If you haven’t gone into GEMS before, your ID NUMBER is your GEMS Number (you must call the GME Office to obtain that number(813) 974-9744). Your PASSWORD is the last 4 digits of your S.S. #, equal sign (=), 4-digit year of your birth (i.e., 1234=1972). You must change your password once you get in. You should go into GEMS at least once a month to keep your account active.
  • If you can’t get in, you’ll have to contact IT HEALTH at (813) 974-6288 to have them reset your password.
  • Once into the website, go to SELF SERVICE. There you’ll find many topics for you to view and make any changes to your personal information. Under the PAYROLL AND COMPENSATION click on DIRECT DEPOSIT.
  • Once you change that information, it will be updated into the payroll system.

You can do a lot of other things in GEMS, too. Look around while you’re in there. Remember go into your account at least once a month to keep it active. If not, you’ll have to have IT reset your password again.

If you have any problems, please call IT at (813) 974-6288 or call the GME Office (813) 974-9744.
