Dale F. Bergamo, MD Assistant Professor Pediatrics	Dr. Dale F. Bergamo received his MD from Wayne State University in 1984. Dr. Bergamo has worked at the Children's Hospital of Michigan in Detroit and the department of Pediatrics at DeVos Children's Hospital in Grand Rapids before joining us at USF Health. Return to Top
Heidi R. Bruty, MD Assistant Professor Psychiatry	Dr. Heidi Bruty received her degree from the University of South Florida College of Medicine in 2001. Previous to her appointment as Assistant Professor, Dr. Bruty completed a Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship at USF in the Department of Psychiatry. Return to Top
Louis Carnendran, MD Assistant Professor Cardiology CRISP	Dr. Louis Carnendran earned his MD from the University of Madras in India. Before coming to USF Health, he worked at the James A. Haley VA Hospital as the Co-Director for Interventional Cardiology. Return to Top

Robert A. Pedowitz, MD, PhD Orthopaedic Surgery Professor & Chair	Dr. Robert Pedowitz earned his MD from the University of California, San Diego. He then went on to obtain his PhD from the University of Gothenburg in Sweden. Prior to coming to USF, he worked at the University of California, San Diego in the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery. Janice C. Pitts, PhD, PT Assistant Professor Physical Therapy & Rehabilitative Sciences	Dr. Janice Pitts specializes in pediatrics. Dahui Qin, MD, PhD Assistant Professor DIO	Dr. Dahui Qin earned his MD from Southeast University in Nanjing, China. He then received his PhD from Virginia Commonwealth University. Philip J. Rogal, MD Assistant Professor Cardiology CRISP	Dr. Rogal received his degree from Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons in 1964. He has worked as a Clinical Instructor and Assistant Professor at Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Dr. Rogal maintained a private practice during those years and in 1988 moved to Florida to continue his private practice before coming to USF Health. Return to Top
Hamisu M. Salihu, MD, PhD Associate Professor Epidemiology & Biostatistics	Dr. Hamisu Salihu received his MD from University of Saarland in Germany in 1995. He earned his PhD from University of Saarland in Perinatology in 1996 and then got his PhD from University of South Florida in Epidemiology 2001. He came to us from the University of Alabama at Birmingham where he served as Associate Professor in the Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology. Return to Top

Teri Trede, MPH, PhD Instructor Community and Family Health	Dr. Teri Trede is a 2006 graduate of USF Health's College of Public Health MPH program. She also received her PhD from USF in 2002.She is joining us after working for Operation PAR, Inc. in St. Petersburg, FL. Return to Top
