What are Injectable Fillers?

How is the procedure performed?

Juvéderm®:

Juvéderm® is hyaluronic acid in a gel form. A fine needle is used to inject Juvéderm® into the skin in very small amount, which can be effective for wrinkles, lips, and facial contouring. The filler may remain in place for up to one year.

Restylane®:

Restylane® is also a hyaluronic acid in gel form. A fine needle is used to inject Restylane® into the skin in very small amount, which can be effective for wrinkles, lips, and facial contouring. The filler may remain in place for up to six months.

Fat:

Fat injection is injecting fat taken from one area of the body (commonly the abdomen, thighs, or buttocks) beneath the facial skin. This may add volume, minimize wrinkles, and sculpt facial contours. The fat may remain in place for years, but this varies with each individual.
