Welcome to USF Health
The USF Health Division of Maternal-Fetal Medicine (sometimes known as high-risk obstetrics) is a specialist center that provides state of the art management of high-risk pregnancies. Our team includes board-certified specialists and experienced, compassionate high-risk obstetrics nurses and medical assistants who provide specialized care for mothers whose pregnancies are complicated by illness or fetal abnormality. We bring together a multidisciplinary team of perinatal experts. And, as part of an academic medical center, we collaborate with our USF colleagues across 32 specialties, including geneticists and patient educators, giving you access to the most advanced care available in the region.
USF-MFM features maternity services at the Women’s Center at Tampa General Hospital (TGH). Babies born at TGH have access to level III neonatal care, the highest level of infant care available. Our health care team works closely with mothers and families, answering questions, offering support and counseling, and providing the most advanced options for care and treatment.
