Philips CM 10 Transmission Electron Microscope
The Philips CM 10 transmission electron microscope is a multipurpose TEM capable of imaging both biological and material science samples. The instrument is used to examine plastic embedded sections of tissue samples, negative stained preparations of bacteria, virus and protein isolates, as well as to examine nanoparticles and nanotubes. The microscope is capable of magnifying images of specimens from 20x to 510,000x. Photographs of nanoparticles can be produced at 1,000,000x. Samples can be tilted in the microscope +/- 60˚.
