ONCOR Image Widefield Confocal Microscope
The ONCOR Image widefield confocal microscope is a computerized widefield fluorescent optical microscope system equipped with filter sets to image any visible fluorescent label (red, green or blue). The system has a cooled CCD camera to detect fluorescent light. The system has a motorized stage for scanning samples in the x, y and z directions, as well as image capturing and processing software. A widefield confocal microscope collects all the fluorescent light originating from a sample and processes this signal to produce 3D images of a sample. The system is matched to a Nikon Diaphot inverted microscope with 4x and 10x plan lenses, and 20x, 40x plan Fluor lenses and a 100x plan Fluor oil lens. Images of up to 4000x magnification have been collected with this system.
