Dr. Renee M. Bassaly has joined USF as an Assistant Professor in the Division of Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery and Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. Bassaly specializes in the treatment of female pelvic floor disorders including pelvic organ prolapse, urinary and anal incontinence, fistulas, female voiding disorders, and Minimally Invasive Gynecological Surgery. She earned her medical degree from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed a Traditional Osteopathic Internship at Delaware County Memorial Hospital/Crozer-Keystone Health System and a residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Lankenau Hospital. She completed her sub-specialty training in a three-year accredited fellowship in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery at the University of South Florida. Dr. Bassaly has presented at national scientific meetings of the AUGS, AAGL and IUGA as well as has been invited as a speaker and assistant for several courses.
