Memorial Gifts are a special way to remember a loved one or friend who has passed from Alzheimer's or its complications. You may make a gift online, or mail your gift. To direct gifts to the Institute, please note the following: Checks should be made out to "USF Foundation, Inc." and mailed to USF Health Byrd Alzheimer's Institute, 12901 Bruce B. Downs Blvd., MDC70, Tampa FL 33612, attention Daniel Minor. Gift acknowledgements are sent monthly to identified family members.
The Memory Research Suite features 400-square-foot of research space that will be staffed by clinical experts from the institute to bring clinical drug trials in Alzheimer’s disease to senior communities throughout Florida. There are corporate and philanthropic sponsorship opportunities to support the mobile suite operations.
The Center for Memory C.A.R.E. (Clinical, Assessment, Research & Education) second floor of the institute is transforming the way Alzheimer's is diagnosed, treated and ultimately prevented. There are currently opportunities to name areas within the Center and leave a lasting imprint.
Planned Gifts allow you to leave a legacy in the fight against Alzheimer's by remembering the institute in your estate plans. Some planned gifts provide you with a current income stream while providing future funds for the Institute.
Outright Gifts provide funds for institute core operations including maintaining the facility, ongoing research, lectures and educational seminars and resources.
We are grateful for your interest in supporting the fight against Alzheimer's and the vital work being conducted at the USF Health Byrd Alzheimer's Institute. If you would like more information concerning one of these areas or a new funding opportunity please contact:
