Professional Education Program Offerings
Education and training on Alzheimer's disease and caregiver issues for health care professionals and service providers is a priority of the Institute. Our programs are delivered throughout Florida by faculty of the USF Health Byrd Institute or USF Faculty members. Training is available at the Institute, or we can come to you.
We are approved by the following organizations as an accredited provider of continuing education.

-Florida Board of Clinical Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy and Mental Health Counseling
-Florida Board of Nursing Home Administartors

The 15th annual 3-day continuing education conference "Geriatric Health Care: Quality Care for Complex Problems" will be held June 18, 19 and 20, 2013 in Tampa. The conference will provide practitioners, administrators and service providers current information on Alzheimer's disease, dementia and other critical issues in aging. This 3-day conference features USF faculty and leading experts in the Tampa Bay community.
