In preparation for November 19th, when USF Health will officially ban smoking on its Tampa campus, “stash cans” have been placed in the three colleges of Public Health, Medicine, and Nursing. The stash cans are meant to raise awareness of the upcoming cigarette ban and motivate people to throw out their unused tobacco products.
Signs on the cans read, “USF Health Goes Smokefree on November 19th, 2009. Today is the Day to Quit. Trash Your Stash”
Sponsored by the University of South Florida AHEC and the State of Florida, Department of Health.
