Access Day
AHEC Program

Access Day is designed to inform high school students of career opportunities in health professions such as medicine, nursing, public health, physical therapy and pharmacy. Access Day has been very successful in educating disadvantaged and underrepresented students who have no prior exposure to higher education. It provides a forum for them to discover the possibilities available in various health professions. We encourage the participation of disadvantaged and underrepresented students in this event.

The following colleges and schools participate in Access Day activities:

  • College of Nursing
  • College of Medicine
  • College of Public Health
  • School of Physical Therapy & Rehabilitation Science
  • Florida A&M College of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences
