Service Corps picnic for our friends with the Farmworkers Self  Help Teen Dream Group at USF Riverfront Park.

Although the surprise thunderstorm  precluded our fitness activities, our USF Health students and the kids had a great time together with Bernice's nutrition game and the arts and crafts!

This year, on November 4th, we initiated a creative new project, in which we collaborated

with Hillsborough Kids,Inc. and we created

healthy holiday gift bags for teens in foster care!

We also learned a great deal about foster care from a licensed social worker.

This was a fun and valuable service learning project, and we hope to partner with

Hillsboorugh Kids in the future.
