Burdash has over 36 years of healthcare experience, having divided her time among hospital, university, medical college, and clinical settings. Burdash began her career at USF Health in 1989 serving as the practice administrator for the Department of Anesthesiology and has risen in the ranks to her current role as associate dean for clinical finance for USF Health. In addition, Burdash serves as associate executive director for operational finance for USF Physicians Group, providing both the physicians group and the Morsani College of Medicine with a unique liaison spanning the three missions.
During the past three years, Burdash has focused on faculty and program performance, process improvement, faculty recruitment and onboarding, and faculty outreach and serves as a resource to the MCOM Executive Leadership Team.
Prior to joining USF Health, Burdash spent 10 years at Thomas Jefferson University serving in administrative roles systemwide.
Burdash received her master’s degree in healthcare administration at Widener University in Chester, PA and a bachelor’s degree in pre-medicine with an emphasis in mathematics.
Burdash is an active member in the Association of American Medical Colleges and Medical Group Management Association. She is a licensed pilot and an avid breeder/owner/handler of Old English Sheepdogs.
