Through the USF affiliated hospitals, our program offers a diverse educational experience in a variety of clinical settings that prepares our graduating residents well for careers in either private practice or academic radiology. The central Florida climate, with its mild winters, offers an additional bonus for year-round recreational activities apart from residency training.


Please review the information provided on our web site regarding our residency program in Diagnostic Radiology. If you wish to apply to the program, you should submit your application and supporting documents through the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS). A Dean's letter, medical school transcripts, USMLE scores, and three letters of recommendation must be received by November 1, 2007 to complete your file. We will offer 6 categorical (PGY 1) diagnostic radiology positions that will begin training on July 1, 2008 .

On November 2, we will begin reviewing all completed files. If the Residency Training Committee feels you are a competitive applicant, you will be contacted by e-mail with a list of available interview dates. Most applicants will be contacted by mid-November. Interviews are conducted by invitation in December and January.

The USF Department of Radiology follows the guidelines set forth by the National Residency Matching Program (NRMP) for programs participating in the match.
